World Cup Willie

Hello! It's me again. The annoying tit who keeps posting shit animated scripts on the internet.

Still, at least I'm enjoying myself. It reminds me of when I did a serious scriptwriting evening class in the early 90s and I just brought in loads of short, crappy sketches. "Like Reeves & Mortimer," someone kindly said, but I like to think I was more influenced by absurdist theatre. Ian S Coe, that sort of thing.

Anyway, my latest "piece" is here. I've given up trying to embed them.

Happy New Year to one and all.

  3. This clip satisfies the Official Languages Act of Canada in which everything must be posted in both English AND French.

  4. Annie - Thank you. Footballers should show their vulnerable sides more often.

Christopher - Thank you. I'm running out of characters but I'll be back.

MJ - The French adds gravitas.

  5. The French remnds me of the cassettes we had to listen to in French lessons - you have caught the tone to perfection!

  7. We had a "language lab" which wasn't exactly used to its full potential. I am probably the least able French speaker out of anybody who's ever done French 'A' Level. But I know my "non" from my "oui".

  8. I know it's early in the series but this episode could be the one that earns you (and Betty, and your Mom) a center table at the award show). It's the slow seeping emotion that does it, not the nipples.

  9. It would be nothing without the nipples, though.

Where should I buy my suit?

  10. Saville Row. And not just the jacket, with that "no one will see the trousers under the tablecloth" attitude.

  11. The trousers are the most important part.
