  2. Baked bean and potato pies? Ooh, goodness. I know someone who made a soup pie once. Soup pie! Yes! Wish I'd thought of that.

Oh dear, I can't stop laughing now.

    3.14 and all that.

Great film too - have you seen it? :)

  3. UC - That's not just pie in the sky. I think I'd go for the baked bean and potato pie.

Molly - Soup in a pie sounds very warming. We have seen the film and were very confused. I think we'd need to see it again. Betty says Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself did the soundtrack. Pop will eat Pi!

  4. I remember that posh bloke called John Williams who formed an 80's acoustic guitar instrumental group called Sky, and they used to stop at Curly's Pie Stall by Gravesend Station after regular gigs at the Co-op Hall.

Thanks for bringing that up, as Curly used to say.

  6. Murph - I always confused that John Williams with the other Oscar-winning John Williams. I think I may have seen Gordon Giltrap at Gravesend once. I know I saw Iron Maiden there. Gravesend gets all the stars.

Kaz - Now you're having me on.
