This video makes my blood boil.
How can they take an absolute classic song/video and completely turn it on its head?
Roger Walters suffered at the hands of dark sarcastic teachers with their thought controlling ways.
Now kids have the upper hand in the classroom, it's all gone too far the other way and teachers cannot use capital punishment as they used to.
Mr Prydz is making a mockery of this song by showing inner city urchins running amock, probably skiving off school where they only abuse the teachers anyway, when they should be sitting quietly doing their homework.
How could Roger Walters allow this to happen? This coming after letting those ridiculous Scissor Sisters loose on his absolute masterwork, Comfortably Numb.
What a kick in the teeth to the people of Berlin!

I stopped watching this halfway through - what Prydz has done is sacrilege.

ReplyDeleteThe Scissor Sisters song was fantastic. I can take or leave the Prydz one as I can with the whole of The Wall.
No adult is doing anything to save our world and if we have the willpower to get out there and do things like that then let us do so.
ReplyDeleteTeachers completely try and transform every student into the same person which is not right. You all wear masks and are scared to show who you really are.
Frankly, adults are the tradegy in this world. Your generation are the ones that have screwed it up for our generation and now we are left to fix it. If you try to create an argument with that then you are selfish.
We ARE NOT just another brick in the wall we are our own person and nobody is going to stop that from now on.
